Everyone Loves Uncle Mark!

Everyone went to dinner and movie (for Marks Birthday) and Mark wasn't able to get off work in time to go so we stayed home. It wasn't long before the babysitter was calling because Tessa was beside herself. All it took was her to see uncle Mark and she had a big smile on her face (so did the sitter) and Tessa was out in seconds. All the Kids just love Uncle Mark...

I Love My Dad!

My Dad and Mark went hunting again! They are trouble buddies, I am so thankful for the relationship that they have (most of the time)... My dad is such an amazing person and I am so thankful to have him in my life. This is the last picture of him and his chevy he's now a dodge guy. I bet my mom was ticked off at him when he got rid of it.

What I am truly thankful for!

This has been the hardest Thanksgiving I've ever had. As You all know I lost my dearly beloved mother 2 months ago. She was and is an angel and she meant everything to me and my family. I really wasn't looking forward to the Holidays because just facing each day without her is so difficult and knowing she wasn't going to be there with us at such an important time just broke my heart. But I am thankful for many things and I want everyone to know that:

I am thankful for the short time I was able to spend with my mom, and for all of the happiness she brought to my life and for the AMAZING grandma she was to my kids.

I am thankful for my kids. I have been blessed with amazing kids that bring joy to my life each and everyday. They are so resiliant and they keep me on my toes.

My husband is such a kind and gentle man that would and has done anything imaginable for me, without hesitation. He has so many talents and is always helping people with anything that they need. He never complains about anything and he is sooo good to our kids.

My Dad is an inspiration to me and I am so grateful to have him in my life he is not afraid to show his emotions and he always has sweet sweet memories of mom to share with us.
(I Love You DAD!)

Through this hard time of loosing my mother my brother has been a strength to the entire family. He has been there for me no matter how bad things get. The special messages he leaves me almost on a daily basis to let me know that he loves me - brings a smile to my face.

My sister is such a beautiful person and I'm amazed at the wonderful mother she has become. Charlee took the time to learn many of my moms talents and because of that my daughter still gets her crochetted socks and all of the secret recipes that my mom would cook at Thanksgiving Charlee was able to recreate and help make this Thanksgiving as great as it could be without mom being there, she is so talented and I look up to her in so many ways.

My Inlaws have been so good to my kids and through all of this they have been such a support to mark and I. Just 1 call is all it takes and they are there for us. We love them so much.

I am thankful for all of the wonderful friends and family that I have and for all of the support they gave me and my family when my mother passed away. The entire town was so amazing and all of the kind letters and hugs that we received were just amazing.

I am thankful for the Gospel and I know the knowledge of the wonderful Gosepel plan gives us solace at this time.

Thanks to everyone! I Love You All!

Happy Thanksgiving

I am thankful for -The taxes I pay because it means I'm employed . . .

The clothes that fit a little too snug because it means I have more than enough to eat . . .

My shadow who watches me work because it means I am out in the sunshine . . .

A lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home . . .

The spot I find at the far end of the parking lot because it means I am capable of walking . . .

My huge heating bill because it means I am warm . . .

All the complaining I hear about our government because it means we have freedom of speech . . .

The lady behind me in church who sings off key because it means that I can hear . . .

The piles of laundry and ironing because it means my loved ones are nearby . . .

The alarm that goes off in the early morning hours because it means that I'm alive . . .

Weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day because it means I have been productive . . .

This Thanksgiving, I hope you pause to give God thanks for all of this and more.

Happy Thanksgiving!
